I got lots of looks and even points and giggles when I carried mine with Cole this summer - but that was because I was in Guat and I was the only gringa wearing one! I was wishing I had one of those when Cole was younger, he would have been in heaven!Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02289401934793162080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173054993762076586.post-87624334160354497662008-11-13T18:01:00.000-05:002008-11-13T18:01:00.000-05:00I think they're great. I had one with Mary and couldn't wait to use it but it was measured out for a friend of mine and I just couldn't get it to work and I KNOW I was wearing it wrong b/c it hurt my neck and shoulders!! I was all about having one (better than carring their GINORMOUS car seat around that weighs 1.2 MILLION POUNDS) but unfortuantely I was never trained correctly and didn't have "lessons" oh well!! Eli slept in it great when we were out in public and it was nice to be somewhat hands free. I did get some strange reactions to it though. Some of my closer friends told me that it was "hippy-ish". I never knew before that having your baby in a sling meant that people would think you were a attachment parenting tree hugger, but apparently that's the general perception. Oh well. I loved it and will definitely be using one with future kiddos!Lindsayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10132687130085116647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173054993762076586.post-8646251843770237032008-11-11T08:54:00.000-05:002008-11-11T08:54:00.000-05:00I really wish we had a group here. WHen you see another mother wearing her child it is so like you are connected. That's how I feel when I see another mother nursing in public, I'm drawn like we have a special bond. Your sling is cute... oh and I Love to see a infant in it.
