we met a Shades Mountain Independent Church. We both attended their college group. Its a very funny story. We were "friends" before we started dating. In fact, we were so different that he once told a friend of his, "don't ever let me date Rachel." he didn't know me that well, only that i was very sure of what I believed and we pretty much seemed to have different convictions on everything. But as we started hanging out together, in groups, he got to know me better and we started sitting together all the time in those group outings..then I invited him to a lake trip job function, as friends, and what do you know, that night we had to discuss the obvious chemistry between us and what to do next. We started dating and the rest in history. He did, however, have a lot of explainng to do to that friend he told to keep him from dating me.. he ended up marrying me. ha!
oh i forgot to mention, we agree on a lot more. I had a lot of rough edges with my communication of my convictions (im easily a black and white kinda gal) and he helped balance me and I helped him grow as well. We compliment each other very well. He is much more merciful that I tend to be. I love it. God certainly knows what he's doing. Jorge is the most awesome man.

Thanks for sharing your story. Isn't it great to see how we compliment our mate and vice versa?
