True Toddler Form

Notice the boots! They are not exactly matching. And believe me, we are trying to work on keeping the hand out of the diaper.
Hilarious!! Jorge is helping his brother out while in the Johnny Jump up. Of course he is NOT supposed to do this! I love having a toddler. He keeps things lively.

I am surprised at the pictures that you posted. From reading your profile, you sound like a modest conservative, but those pictures don't convey that message. Where I come from, this form of exploitation is highly offensive! What kind of message are you trying to send?!?

I came across your blog by typing in "God gave me peace" in the google blog search, and your title "Thanks a lot, Lord" really inspired me. Since I am going through an intense time of trouble, I was just searching for hope in this wretched world. But now I'm all confused. Why would someone like you do that. I don't understand. Due to my circumstances, I am really struggling right now.

I'm sorry, I don't know if this is a cry for help, or a pathetic complaint. I don't mean for it to be either. I'm just confused.

Dear Anonymous,

thank you so much for posting your comment. I am glad that you visited my blog. As far as the pictures I posted (im guessing its the picture of my youngest without his diaper) Im not sure that my giving you an explanation will make you feel better, but I'll try. This was right after bathtime, before I could get a diaper on him. As you can tell, i blurred anything private. We just think he is the cutest baby and that there is nothing sexually offensive by a cute little naked baby. Unfortunately, because of our sin (human nature) we can think that its something to be ashamed of. Similar to the shame that Adam and Eve felt in the garden after their sin. They immediately felt shame and "clothed" themselves with fig leaves. God didn't tell them to be ashamed. This picture of my baby was taken with a heart of joy at how precious he is, yet I did keep his nakedness to some limit. I am sorry that you were offended by it. I promise it was not done to exploit my children. Thanks again for the comment. I would love to talk futher, if anything to hear about your struggles and just be an extra ear for you to talk to.

So funny! We went through a phase where E enjoyed taking her diaper off. X resorted to duct tape! Yes, thank you for working on that familiar bad guy habit. As a teacher it is a pet peave when they come to school doing that!!

Your comment to anonymous was so gracious!
