my baby boy.. turns 1.

My sweet Evan Isaac. What a joy you are. I mean really, look at your face. How am I not absolutely smitten with those eyes? I am so thankful that God saw fit to include you in our family. You are the sweetest little boy and are generally just the happiest little one in the house. Your siblings love you and love to make you laugh, which doesn't take much work. And what a little chow hound you are. We are blessed to have you and look forward to seeing God's plan for your special life.

In mid walk.. looks like he has a swagger to his step.. ha.

Love you "fat face." I promise to stop calling you that soon. But I love you endlessly.

Parenting Tips Numero 3.

You can read my first and second installment if you'd like..

Without further ado...

It's best not to give your baby an Oreo. They probably won't like it very much.

Enter your child into rehab as soon as you see the hoarder tendencies.

Be prepared: letting your child choose their style.. well, it can backfire.

DO NOT let your child sit on tables.

If you are at all concerned about driving with a toddler in your lap. Maybe it would be better just to let them drive by themselves.

It's best to let them work out their own issues.

I personally believe that emptying the case of wipes is a good way to learn counting.

When trying to cook dinner, it's best to keep the little ones busy.

I can't say it enough: HYDRATE your children.

I think it's never too early to teach your children what to do if they encounter someone who isn't willing to share their toys.

Finally, I think it's best to enable your families' compulsive tendencies when they come to visit. Therefore deeming it socially acceptable to let your sister steam clean your toilet upon visiting.

Now time to make your own post and let me know the link so that I can get a chuckle.

Adios.

Im still here..

Just thought I'd let my readers know (all five of you) that I am still here.

Alabama had some Tornado's and our house has been kinda busy since. We didn't get any damage but I have been trying to do what I can to help.

Also, officially started back the doula gig with a birth yesterday. Very excited to write that birth story and post it soon on my birth blog.

Also, baby Isaac is turning ONE on Thursday (along with my neice-turning 9) and his party will be Saturday. Then we leave for Colorado on the 21st. So things are not slowing down at all, but hopefully I will be able to throw in some blog candy when I can.

Adios.
